In reverse, repeat and return. From past to future. Analog and digital!💥

☆ Far East and Ras Hassan Ti 🔥

Ras Hassen Ti is the singer of “Marcus Garvey”, the hit released in 2001 and produced with the collaboration of Munky Lee (one pioneer artists of the French Dub scene). Ras Hassen Ti has since then carried on writing and interpreting beautiful songs for international productions and he has been successful, working with labels such as I&I&I Music.

Far East’s first got famous through his melodica tune “Blow Down Babylon”, in 2007, he was one of many within his generation who grew up listening to reggae classics and going to reggae dances and gigs from which many renowned artists emerged. He started playing as a melodica soloist with one of the greatest French sound systems: Zion Gate HIFI. Since then, he has been working as a solo artist and has worked in collaboration with many international labels such as Mellow Vibes, Roots Hitek (U.K) or Digital English (U.S.A). Since 2006, he has also produced many French and foreign singers, musicians and mixers on his own labels (Digital Rockers and I&I&I Music).

Ras Hassen Ti’s songs and Far East’s melodica music have been played for about 20 years by the most famous sound systems and some pioneers artists such as Jah Shaka, Aba Ashanti I, Channel One, Iration Steppas, King Shiloh, Jah Tubbys, Blackboard Jungle and O.B.F.

Despite having heard of each other through their own productions, they finally met properly in 2012 and have been working together on music projects since then. This was the beginning of a true friendship and the two are now working tightly together on the same riddims either on records, in recording studios or while performing live at sound system events where they sing and play in turn.
Since their meetings they have not stopped working with many musicians, producers and artists from all over the world, Europeans, North and South Americans, Africans or Asians.
