Dub Stories is our regular gathering in West Germany.
A series strictly dedicated to Dub, Soundsystem culture and the spirit surrounding it. Each session features different guests presenting their musical works, receiving nothing but full respect from the crowd.
Our mission is to showcase both the elders and the new generations of the scene. Local and international artists, each carrying their own story, come together to strengthen and uplift the culture. We believe these stories are essential to keep the movement alive.
Since 2016, Dub Stories has been taking place on a regular basis – at times even monthly. Born at Triptychon Münster, one of the key places for Soundsystem and Dub culture, the Stories have since found a new home at Junkyard Dortmund.
At this time, we are working towards releasing a limited vinyl record for every Dub Story.
The Dub Stories Collectors Series is available exclusively at our sessions – rare pieces, made for the moment. Each record is carefully curated to reflect the vibration of the night. Not always an easy mission, but see for yourself what has already been released. Original style seen.
We do not know if these sounds will ever touch the Earth in this form again. That is why it means so much to us to give something back – to the artists and to the people – in the shape of a black piece of history.
In the near future, we will also begin sharing interviews with our guests and further key players of the scene, giving deeper insight into their journeys, visions and foundations.
