Vor rund zwei Jahren tauchte Cobby plötzlich bei uns auf. Einst unser Postbote – und heute präsentieren wir voller Freude seine erste eigene Schallplatte!

Aus der gemeinsamen Leidenschaft, Musik zu machen, und einem verdammt guten Zusammenspiel entstand schließlich ONEYAH.

Mehrfach und mit großer Freude auf dem Kunterbunt Soundsystem in der Dancehall getestet, hat der Tune bereits ordentlich Druck bekommen – und jetzt freuen wir uns umso mehr, das Ding endlich in die Welt zu schicken!

Cobbys abwechslungsreiche und eigenständige Vocals treffen auf ein Riddim von SattaPaul, für den dies ebenfalls erst die zweite Veröffentlichung auf Vinyl ist.

Zwei musikalische Wege, die hier zusammenkommen – getragen von Freundschaft & Soundsystem Culture.

About two years ago, Cobby suddenly appeared in our lives. Once our postman — today we’re more than happy to present his very first record!

Out of a shared passion for making music, and a really good musical connection, ONEYAH was born.

Tested many times with great joy on the Kunterbunt Soundsystem in the dancehall, the tune already got plenty of pressure — and now we’re very happy to finally send this one out into the world.

Cobby’s versatile and unique vocals ride a riddim by SattaPaul, for whom this is also only the second release on vinyl.

Two musical paths coming together here — carried by friendship & soundsystem culture.
